CA eTrust
On installation the Agent may detect both definition file update methods employed by CA eTrust although only one may be active. If this is the case please use the Test Check option to identify the active component and remove the inactive one using the Delete option.

GData
Please note that although we support GData, which uses the BitDefender and Avast engines, we do not yet support the BitDefender and Avast products when not installed as part of GData Anti-Virus.

Panda
Unfortunately Panda is not supported on NT, Vista or Server2008.

Symantec Endpoint Protection
Although Symantec Endpoint Protection Management Console may be installed on the server this does not necessarily install the Symantec Endpoint Protection Client and in these cases it may be necessary to install the Client as well as the Management Console onto the machine.

Trend Anti-Virus and Trend Worry Free Anti-Virus
On installation the Agent may detect the update location registry string used by both Trend Anti-Virus and Trend Worry Free Anti-Virus although only one one version may be installed. If this is the case please use the Test Check option to identify the active product and remove the inactive one using the Delete option. Similarly if the Trend Anti-Virus Check returns the definition file as 0.0.00 this would be indicative of a Trend Worry Free Anti-Virus installation as although the products share this registry entry, it is not written to by Trend Worry Free Anti-Virus.

Roll Your Own Event Log Check
If your AntiVirus product is not mentioned above and it writes to the Event Log you may be able to use the Event Log check to monitor its status.
